St George’s Church

13th century remains include a knight effigy, font and crucifixion scene. The tower is 14th century as are a piscina and quatrefoil window. Most arches are 15th century.

In 1762 radical style changes were made. Major restorations took place in 1876, altering most windows, enlarging the vestry and installing a new font, pulpit and the current seating. The organ was installed in 1881.
